At its best, this Waipara, North Canterbury wine is concentrated and complex, with loads of personality. From vines over 25 years old, the 2013 vintage (4*) is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and barrel-fermented Sémillon. A tightly structured, mouthfilling, dry wine, it is aromatic, with lively grapefruit and herb flavour, showing excellent depth, and a touch of complexity.
