Whitehaven Marlborough Pinot Noir (2012)

The 2012 vintage (4*) was hand-picked and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (30 per cent new). A sturdy, savoury red, it is sweet-fruited, with very satisfying depth of cherry, plum and spice flavours, good complexity, gentle tannins and a well-rounded finish. Best drinking 2015+.
