The 2010 vintage (5*) is impressive. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (51 per cent) and Merlot (49 per cent), grown in the Anthony Vidal Vineyard and matured for 20 months in French oak casks (60 per cent new), it is dark, concentrated, very dense and complex, with blackcurrant, plum, herb, spice and nut flavours, fine-grained tannins and obvious cellaring potential. (There is no 2011 or 2012.)
