Torea Marlborough Pinot Noir (2011)

Offering very good value, the 2011 vintage (3.5*) is a single-vineyard red from Fairhall Downs, hand-picked in the Brancott Valley and French oak-aged for 10 months. Ruby-hued, it is full-bodied, ripe and smooth, with cherry and spice flavours, gently seasoned with nutty oak, a touch of complexity, good harmony and strong drink-young appeal.
