Seresin Tatou Pinot Noir (2012)

Grown in deep gravels at the upper end of the Wairau Valley, this wine is typically hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 18 months in French oak barriques (30 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Bright ruby, the 2012 vintage (4*) is mouthfilling and savoury, with generous plum, dried herb, spice and nut flavours, showing good complexity. Drinking well now, it should be at its best 2016+. Certified organic.
