Seresin Home Marlborough Pinot Noir (2011)

The 2011 vintage (4*) was estate-grown near Renwick, in the Wairau Valley, hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 18 months in French oak barriques (20 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Full and moderately youthful in colour, it is mouthfilling, with strong, ripe, cherryish, spicy, nutty flavours, showing good complexity, and a fairly firm finish. Best drinking mid-2015+. Certified organic.
