Saint Clair Vicar’s Choice Marlborough Grüner Veltliner (2013)

A versatile food wine, already drinking well, the 2013 vintage (3.5*) was grown in the Wairau and Omaka valleys, hand-picked and partly barrel-fermented. Aromatic, it has lively, moderately concentrated, citrusy, slightly spicy flavours and a dry (3.6 grams/litre of residual sugar), finely balanced finish.
