River Farm Marlborough Pinot Gris (2013)

The 2013 vintage (3.5*) was hand-harvested in O’Dwyers Farm Vineyard, in the heart of the Wairau Valley, and lees-aged for three months in tanks. Mouthfilling, fresh and lively, it’s a finely poised, dryish wine (6.5 grams/litre of residual sugar), with a slightly oily texture, generous, ripe, citrusy, slightly spicy flavours, a touch of complexity, and an easy-drinking charm. Drink now or cellar.
