A bold, fleshy, generous red. Estate-grown at Bendigo, hand-picked and matured in French oak barriques (24 per cent new), the 2013 vintage (5*) is deeply coloured and floral, with fresh, ripe, concentrated plum, spice and nut flavours, and good tannin backbone. A powerful, dense, well-structured wine, it should be at its best 2016+. Certified biodynamic.
