Estate-grown and matured for a year in French oak barrels (10 per cent new), the refined 2013 vintage (4*) is fragrant and finely textured. Showing good varietal character, it is full-coloured, with satisfying depth of vibrant, plummy, spicy flavours, gentle acidity, balanced tannins, and excellent harmony. It’s already very enjoyable; drink now or cellar.
