The 2011 vintage (4*) is one of the first dessert wines from the Waitaki Valley, in North Otago. A weighty, generous wine with concentrated, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, it is sweet (154 grams/litre of residual sugar) and gently honeyed, with good complexity. It’s drinking well now.
