The 2013 vintage (4*) was matured in French oak barrels. Deep and purple-flushed in colour, it is fleshy, with concentrated, ripe, plummy flavours, hints of spices and coffee, good tannin backbone, oak complexity, and the structure to age well. Best drinking 2016+.
