Misha’s Vineyard Verismo Central Otago Pinot Noir (2010)

This ‘reserve style’ is oak-aged longer and given greater exposure to new oak than its High Note stablemate. The 2010 (5*) is an outstanding vintage. Matured for 15 months in French oak hogsheads (48 per cent new), it is deep and bright in colour, with highly concentrated plum, spice and nut flavours. A fragrant, powerful, dense and savoury red, still youthful, it’s sure to be long-lived; open 2015+.
