Enjoyable young, the 2013 vintage (3.5*) was grown at three sites, in the Wairau and Omaka valleys. Fermented in tanks (93 per cent) and barrels (7 per cent), it is fresh and vibrantly fruity, with very good depth of pear, peach and spice flavours, a touch of complexity and a dry (4.4 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.
