Estate-grown and hand-picked in the Waihopai Valley, the 2012 (3.5*) is mouthfilling, with generous peachy, spicy, slightly gingery and honeyed flavours, in an off-dry style. The 2013 vintage (3*) is fleshy and youthful, with a touch of complexity and restrained lychee, pear and spice flavours. Worth cellaring.
