Jackson Estate The Somerset Vineyard Marlborough Pinot Noir (2011)

The 2011 vintage (3.5) was hand-picked in the Waihopai Valley and matured for 15 months in old French oak casks. Ruby-hued, it is a supple red with good texture and moderately concentrated, cherry and slight herb flavours, not especially rich, but very charming.
