Gladstone Vineyard Pinot Noir (2013)

The 2011 vintage (4*) was hand-picked in the northern Wairarapa and matured for 10 months in French oak casks (17 per cent new). Ruby-hued, it is an elegant red with vibrant cherry, plum and spice flavours, ripe and savoury, slightly earthy notes and very good complexity. Very harmonious and finely textured, it has strong drink-young appeal.
