Freeland Winemakers’ Reserve Central Otago Pinot Gris (2014)

Sold by the New Zealand Wine Society, the 2014 vintage (4*) is from James and Matt Dicey, linked to Mt Difficulty. Delicious now, it is a fragrant, mouthfilling, medium-dry style (10 grams/litre residual sugar), with strong, ripe, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, fresh acidity to keep things lively, and plenty of personality.
