The 2011 vintage (3.5*) was hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts, barrel-aged for 20 months (French, 33 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Mouthfilling, with fullish, moderately youthful colour, it has generous cherry, spice and nut flavours, showing good complexity, but also a slight lack of ripeness and richness.
