The 2012 vintage (4.5*) is the best yet. Estate-grown and matured for 15 months in French oak casks (25 per cent new), it is deep ruby, scented, rich and supple. A generous, silky, very harmonious red, it has strong, cherryish, plummy, spicy, nutty flavours, showing good complexity, and a long, savoury finish. Drink now or cellar. Certified organic.
