Elephant Hill Heironymus (2011)

The 2011 vintage (4*) is a brambly, deeply coloured Hawke’s Bay red, blended from Malbec (75 per cent) and Merlot (25 per cent), grown in the Gimblett Gravels and at Te Awanga. An upfront style, it has rich blackcurrant, plum, spice and nut flavours, vibrant and finely textured, with excellent drinkability.
