Top vintages of this single-vineyard Bannockburn, Central Otago red are outstanding. The 2011 vintage (5*) was matured for almost a year in French oak casks and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep and youthful in colour, it is a very generous, full-bodied wine with lovely depth of ripe plum, spice and nut flavours. Notably savoury and harmonious, with a welcoming fragrance, it’s delicious now but also well worth cellaring.
