The 2012 vintage (4*) was estate-grown and matured for over a year in French oak casks (20 per cent new). A ruby-hued, age-worthy wine with good density, it is mouthfilling, with a warm, savoury palate, strong, plummy, spicy flavours, fine-grained tannins and good complexity. Best drinking 2015+.
