Akarua Vintage Brut (2010)

The 2010 vintage (4*) is a Pinot Noir-dominant blend, estate-grown at Bannockburn, in Central Otago, and disgorged after three years on its yeast lees. Straw-hued, it has biscuity, yeasty aromas, showing good complexity, leading into a high-flavoured wine, crisp, yeasty, toasty, dryish (6 grams/litre of residual sugar), and rich.
