Grown in the Fletcher Vineyard, in the Wairau Valley, the 2011 vintage (4*) was partly barrel-fermented. The bouquet is honeyed; the palate is peachy and concentrated, with plentiful sweetness (130 grams/litre of residual sugar), a hint of apricot, and lovely vibrancy and harmony.
