The 2011 vintage (4*) is a blend of almost equal portions of Gisborne Gewürztraminer and Waipara Riesling. It has strongly spicy flavours, suggestive of Gewürztraminer, but also Riesling’s citrusy notes. Soft and sweet (120 grams/litre of residual sugar), with excellent harmony and richness, it’s ready to roll.
