The golden 2011 vintage (5*) is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (55 per cent) and Sémillon (45 per cent), from fully botrytis-affected berries, hand-picked in late May. It has a ravishingly honeyed bouquet, with concentrated apricot and honey flavours, an oily texture, abundant sweetness (250 grams/litre of residual sugar), and lovely ripeness and richness.
