Dark and dense, the 2010 vintage (4*) was estate-grown, hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for nearly a year in French oak barriques. It’s a powerful (14.5 per cent alcohol), rich wine with blackcurrant, herb and plum flavours, fresh and supple, in a distinctly cool-climate style with notable concentration.
