A bold, fleshy, generous red, biodynamic-certified. The 2011 (5*) was estate-grown at Bendigo, hand-picked and matured in French oak barriques (30 per cent new). Deeply coloured, very savoury and complex, it is firmly structured, with youthful, concentrated plum and spice flavours, sweet-fruit delights, and finely integrated oak. The 2012 vintage (5*), matured for 10 months in French oak casks (30 per cent new), is full-coloured, mouthfilling, savoury and supple, with sweet-fruit delights. Already approachable, with deep, ripe cherry, spice and nut flavours and a solid foundation of tannin, it should be long-lived.
