The 2011 vintage (2.5*) is a blend of Merlot (93 per cent) and Malbec (7 per cent). Fullish and slightly developed in colour, it is mouthfilling and sweetly oaked, with solid depth of plummy, spicy flavours and a smooth finish. It shows some complexity, but also a slight lack of ripeness and richness.
