This is the Central Otago winery’s ‘lighter’ red, for ‘immediate enjoyment’. The 2012 vintage (3*), a regional blend, is fresh and fruity, with mouthfilling body, good depth of plummy, slightly herbal flavours and crisp acidity. Still youthful, it should be at its best mid-2014+.
