Grown and hand-picked in the Cromwell Basin, then vinified on Waiheke Island, the 2012 vintage (3.5*) is ruby-hued, with mouthfilling body (14.5 per cent alcohol), moderately complex cherry, plum and slight herb flavours, a gentle oak influence, a smooth finish, and lots of drink-young charm.
