From Folding Hill, at Bendigo, the 2011 vintage (4*) has a floral bouquet, with savoury, spicy notes. Barrel-aged for 10 months (25 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered, it is attractively sweet-fruited and supple, with cherry, plum and spice flavours, a hint of herbs, good complexity and gentle tannins. Drink now to 2015.
