Deeply coloured, the 2009 vintage (3*) is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based red (54 per cent), blended with Cabernet Franc (22 per cent), Malbec (15 per cent) and Merlot (9 per cent). French and American oak-aged for nine months, it has herbal, brambly, slightly nutty flavours, slightly rustic but showing good concentration.
