Scented and poised, the 2009 vintage (4*) from Sacred Hill is a single-vineyard wine, grown in the Awatere Valley. Basically dry (4 grams/litre of residual sugar), it is medium-bodied, with strong lemon, lime and slight passionfruit flavours, showing good delicacy and freshness, and a long, tight but not austere finish. Fine value.
