The 2012 vintage (3*) is a blend of Marlborough (57 per cent), Gisborne (36 per cent), Waipara (4 per cent) and Hawke’s Bay (3 per cent) grapes. It’s a finely balanced, dryish wine (5.5 grams/litre of residual sugar), with pear and spice aromas and flavours, fresh and strong.
