The seductive, highly distinctive 2011 vintage (4*) should really be in the Sweet White Wines sectionof the Buyer’s Guide, since it harbours 55 grams per litre of residual sugar. BioGro certified, it was grown at Rapaura, in Marlborough, and made in a low-alcohol style (9.5 per cent), with ‘a little spritz’. Light and lively, it is very refreshing and yummy, with concentrated, ripe flavours and lovely balance of sweetness and crispness.
