Mount Riley Seventeen Valley Marlborough Pinot Noir (2010)

Grown in the company’s Seventeen Valley Vineyard, south of Blenheim, the 2010 vintage (3.5*) was hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and matured for 10 months in French oak barrels. It’s a full-bodied wine, bright ruby, with sweet-fruit characters, very good depth of ripe cherry/plum flavours and some nutty, spicy, savoury complexity. Drink now or cellar.
