The 2010 vintage (3.5*) was grown in Nelson and matured for over a year in French oak barrels (50 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it is mouthfilling, with a pungently peppery bouquet and very good depth of ripe plum and spice flavours, finely textured and smooth. Verging on four stars.
