At its best, this wine is weighty, rich and rounded. Hand-picked and lees-aged, it is made in an off-dry style. The 2010 vintage (4*) is ripely scented and mouthfilling, with rich, ripe, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, showing excellent freshness, purity and depth. Full-bodied and finely poised, it’s unfolding well.The 2011 (3*) is mouthfilling, with vibrant pear and lychee flavours in a fresh, slightly sweet (8 grams/litre of residual sugar), easy-drinking style.
