The 2011 vintage (4*) was estate-grown at Waipara, hand-picked, and fermented and lees-aged in old oak casks. Fleshy and rounded, with peachy, spicy flavours, and hints of apricots and honey, it’s a distinctly medium style (40 grams/litre of residual sugar), with good complexity and loads of personality. It’s drinking well now.
