The 2010 vintage (4*) was estate-grown on the banks of the Wairau River and mostly handled in tanks; 10 per cent was matured in seasoned French oak barriques. Floral, full-bodied, fresh and lively, it is finely textured, with peachy, slightly spicy flavours, hints of pears, oranges and honey, and a smooth (7.8 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Delicious from the start.
