Typically a fruit-driven style with a touch of class (future vintages will be labelled as ‘White Series’). Mouthfilling, fresh and vibrantly fruity, the 2010 (3.5*) was grown predominantly in the Keltern Vineyard at Maraekakaho. Fermented in a mix of tanks (17 per cent), seasoned French oak barriques (74 per cent) and new French oak barriques (9 per cent), it’s an elegant, youthful wine with grapefruit and slight spice flavours, and some mealy, biscuity notes adding a touch of complexity.
