Ripely scented, rich and zingy, this single-vineyard wine is grown at Rapaura and mostly handled in tanks, with some fermentation and lees-aging in seasoned French oak casks (20 per cent in 2009). The 2009 vintage (5*) is very subtle and satisfying. Bone-dry, it is fleshy, with rich, ripe tropical-fruit flavours, crisp and lively, and excellent drive, immediacy and punch.
