The 2009 vintage (3.5*) is a blend of Pinotage and Syrah, grown at Waipara, which did not meet the winery’s standards for varietal wines. Full-coloured, with a spicy, slightly rustic bouquet, it is mouthfilling and firmly structured, with plum, spice and dark chocolate flavours, showing very good depth.
