The highly attractive 2008 vintage (4*) is a Waiheke Island blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (52 per cent), Merlot (30 per cent), Cabernet Franc (17 per cent) and Malbec (1 per cent). An elegant, still youthful red, it is deeply coloured, with concentrated, plummy, spicy flavours, ripe, savoury and complex.
