Fleshy and smooth, the 2009 vintage (4*) was harvested in the Bell Vineyard, at Hexton, at a ripe 24.2 brix. Delicious young, it’s a robust style (over 14 per cent alcohol), with good concentration of peach, pear and lychee flavours, a hint of herbs and a dryish, finely textured finish.
