Martinus Estate Martinborough Pinot Noir (2010)

The 2007 (4*), released in 2010, was matured for 11 months in French oak casks (25 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with cherry, herb and spice flavours, showing good, savoury complexity. The 2008 vintage (4.5*) is mouthfilling and sweet-fruited, with deep colour and cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing excellent complexity and richness.
