Grown at a cool, inland site on the western edge of the Bridge Pa Triangle, this arresting wine is hand-picked from low-cropping vines (6-7 tonnes/ha), fermented with indigenous yeasts and lees-aged in French oak barriques. The 2020 vintage (5*) is highly refined. Mouthfilling, it is very youthful, with impressively concentrated, grapefruit and peach flavours, mealy and biscuity notes adding complexity, and a powerful, very harmonious finish. Best drinking 2024+.
