Valli Gibbston Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Gris (2019)

Still unfolding, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown, hand-picked and handled without oak. Bright, light lemon/green, it is a refined, very youthful wine with vibrant, citrusy, slightly appley and peachy flavours, fresh acidity, and a long, dry (3 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking 2022+.
